10-day gamejam
World's Worst Hitman is an FPS created as part of a 10-day gamejam that tasked participants with making a game that combines one or more of their inspirations. We created a spoof of the Hitman series where you're the worst man for the job - your handler decides you're a lost cause, so even the target's identity is unknown.
My responsibilities mostly included designing the complex level and iterating on it.

LEVEL DESIGN
World's Worst Hitman is set in an eclectic museum - each room features new mechanics and gets players one step closer to a successful hit. My designs were inspired by the Hitman game series, and while the version submitted to the game jam wasn't fully functional, I believe the level designs in the gallery and level design document below still show a lot of promise.
GAME DESIGN
While most mechanics were derived from the modern Hitman trilogy, our game's more comedic tone meant some fun could be had with ridiculous mechanics as detailed in the game design document below.
For context, this design document was written roughly halfway through the game jam, so not everything made it into the final game - and as I was taking part in this gamejam with my friends, some decisions (like a room full of references) were included as opportunities for them to show off their own skills in 3D modelling and 2D art.
Still, I readily admit that the game had too many features and suffered heavily with scope creep throughout the jam - it was a big teaching moment.
